Arc lamp or LED: UV technology for all applications

At ICE Europe which will take place from 10th – 12th March in Munich, Germany, IST METZ GmbH will be showing both systems with UV arc lamps or UV LEDs for the curing by means of UV light in hall A6 at booth 156.

IST METZ GmbH presents its new water-cooled LED UV system LUV® at the trade fair. More than 30 years of experience in the production of UV curing systems were of help in the development of this new product. The newly developed optics made of lenses that are each designed for specific applications ensures a high UV output on the substrate. The system is available in two different versions. This allows for the ideal adaption to various distances between unit and substrate. The LUV® 20 is suitable for converting and industrial printing in particular because it achieves optimum results with distances from 0-50 mm to the substrate.

With the UV system BLK®-6, IST METZ will be showing a product that combines the specific market requirements on the curing technology with the latest technical developments in UV unit manufacturing. When compared to conventional UV systems, remarkable progress has been made in drying performance without having to increase the UV lamp output. This means greater productivity with reduced operating costs.

The BLK®-6 boasts of extremely high efficiency. Instead of the previous three BLK®-2 type units with 200 W/cm, the same excellent drying results can now be achieved with just two of the new BLK®-6 units with 180 W/cm. Operating costs have been considerably reduced thanks to the significant reduction in energy consumption.
